Sunday, Sentosa, Spongebob...and a sn...
What on earth was I doing at Sentosa Tanjong beach on a Sunday evening? Yes…me, the sn with a sn outlook (I hope so), yet the heart of an aunty and the energy level of an oba-san.
I sat in a car filled with 3 Dai’s, clutching a cup of coffee in my hand, balancing a cup of coke between my feet that were buried beneath burgers and fries both straight and curly, and contemplating hard if I shd ask a “so…is cat coming later”, or “shea…u wan some fries?”…this hbh a bit too straining for a sn (as described above) le!! Oh man…oh man….and dd has to lose his way to lengthen this ordeal….apparently NS boys dun favour sentosa chalets!!
It was a long walk to tanjong beach, and it was made longer by the uphill parts and again…the coke and the burgers and the fries…and for gydn…the picnic mats! and so we struggled and we panted and I continued to wonder what on earth was I doing at Sentosa on a Sunday evening!!! And I guess, dd also continued to wonder as much what exactly was wrong w his sis’s friend to wear double layered tops with jeans and shoes to a sentosa!!! or….when is she going to show her halter!!! LOL ~ ~ ~
Anw, we were there for a spongebob square pants movie preview!! And in case u dunno who this squarepants thing is…look at our masks!! Haha….ke ai right!! Yea…that is him!! and yea!!! finally you are reading about me engaging in some activity other than MD chasing right….haha…. and mind you, this is an exclusive event and only people with invites are allowed!! Wahaha…all thanks to gydn for putting down her 尊贵的身份 as gydn and her gengness to appear at Bishan in spongebob’s bugs teeth!!
Anw, the movie was funny, and luckily rather short, because we were as anxious to get home early as the parents whose kids have to go to school the next day! so this is tsj’s 1st outing to a 外岛……!!! And so…we finally got to know gydn’s most beloved cartoon character better…haha….
And to add one last point….its hard being a mum!! And its very hard too being a 舅舅 and an 姨姨!!!
