親愛的大家!!! 聖誕節快樂!!
Well…this is it. Christmas Day is here! And I duno if I should say “finally” or “sadly”. Ya, Christmas is supposed to be a happy occasion where everyone should be feeling very blessed and loved.
But now that it’s here…I suddenly feel a slight sense of gloominess because it is going to be over in the next 20 hours. And so, I have realized, I am probably not in love with “Christmas”, but rather, the counting down period to the 25th Dec, or so called “the festive season”!
I love walking home in the evening breeze that smells of “year-end” 俗稱"年底的味道", I love the 莫名的 anticipation and the excitement in the air, and I love to be hearing Christmas songs wherever I go (excluding the techno versions my dad plays at home…lol). Of cos I still hate the crowd!
And hence, conclusion is, 24th Nov – 24th Dec…that then is MY X’MAS!!
Today has been a very long day, starting from 630am when I woked up from cramps.
Work was a frenzy of figuring out how to wrap whatever was thrown to me, which came in every possible shapes and sizes, under the watchful eyes of the last minute shoppers, with my backache and cramps, and while losing blood intensively. Oh yea, and also about how not to roll my eyeballs but give an appreciative smile plus a “merry x’mas” to those who so rightfully asked for unlimited gift wrappers, boxes, cards, ribbons and paper bags after shoving to you their receipt of 30 odd dollars. As such, my schoolday’s dream of being a “gift wrapper” was also officially 宣告破滅 w.e.f. today!
LOL~ and my colleague actually kena a luggage (heng not me!)…and NO!! you din read wrongly, it was A LUGGAGE!!! which she had to stick like, maybe 8pcs of big wrappers tgt to wrap! Haha…luggages should be banned as a gift la…and today I constantly 犯了 gift wrapping 的大忌 so many times!!! forgot to remove price tags!! CMI!! (cannot make it) Wahaha…customers gota remind me constantly! lol…just too bad for you all la….cos today it was me and aunty at your service. If it’s me alone, you all would have easily got more gift wrappers, boxes, cards, ribbons and paper bags than what you asked for with a sweet sn smile, I promise! LOL~~
Luckily the day was redeemed by the little tsj party/feast after work. We had fried chicken, a tough grilled chicken (tryg to pass off as turkey), pizza, cream puffs, almond jelly, fried hokkien mee (compliments from my mum!), chocolates, sushi, and the 不可缺少的 log cake!
And yea, after-dinner activities included lying around in my room and switching from one SCV channel to another! Lol~ tsj style party. And yea, you may call us the losers, because we indeed had fun! and i guess we all appreciated the party a lot becos even at 5pm today, it felt like tsj was on the verge of disbanding on a Christmas eve!! LOL~
anw it was 3 silly gers getting themselves too serious about their friendship i guess, which is actually such a happy thing tho at times too much to take for a 窩囊 sn sandwiched btwn the taurians! lol~
So….this was my Christmas eve…how about u all???
