bye bye shoes

i love my massimo snake skin peeptoes.
i love it!
i bought it at a defective sale
the retail value was low
but it doesn't matter how others rate it
because it was love at first sight.
it is gem to me
everything i ever wanted in a pair of heels,
i thought, only that i am a 7 and it is a 6.

so i wore it.
i felt happy wearing it.
my friends think they are hot and they
think it looks damn good on me.
i love it, it makes me happy.
although it hurts me, always.

it got painful sometimes,
so i take a break from it sometimes
then i thought of expanding it, and i added
cushions, and i placed plasters on my feet
then one day i realised that a 6 is a 6
you cant change it
and 6 shoes will keep hurting 7 feet
but i still love it...

so i kept wearing it and it kept hurting me
and one day, it cut my skin
it was a deep cut and there was blood

and i started to wonder, if i will
be more comfortable bare footed

or maybe, what i need is a pair of
nice nappa loafers, in size 7
shoes that will take me anywhere and walk
with me on this long journey called life
shoes that are gentle on my feet and
can withstand the test of time

6 shoes should not hurt 7 feet
and 7 feet should not destroy 6 shoes

so tomorrow, i am going to give
my massimo to amanda.

not because i dont love it anymore
but i simply cant move forward in it
i guess it will be hard at the start
but i guess after some time, i can be
happy to see it fitting nicely on amanda
it was once my beloved companion afterall

6 shoes should belong to 6 feet.
7 feet should look for 7 shoes

lesson: some things we love may not be good for us.
