My D&D - MADhatters
Finally compromised with myself about last night. Actually I did not want to remember too much. But I did had a good time at the start.
Before that, I was almost bi feng by what to wear!!! Really, and the worst part was the theme being mad-HAT-ters nite, and my fav chairman wanted us to all make effort on our hats! Come on, if he was not my fav chairman, who would wana support such a theme! It's so difficult esp when all the affordable hats in spore are so cliche!!! And I did not attend the meeting which they brainstormed and decided on the theme!
I could not find anything after combing for 2 weekends, and finally with the help of niu, at the very last minute, I succumbed to buying some materials from spotlight to make one myself. I just wanted a small gui fu looking one to clip on like an accessory.
The making process: I stole the Maggi cup from 7-11! But after that I realized it was too big on the head, so I dug out some cut papercups with penguins and cut them up!
The pink one was the 1st one I made with the fabric i bought from spotlight. But I had such a poor memory, until I took out my top then I realised it was peach not pink!! So it was a total mismatch!!!
Luckily my mum donated her old pillowcase to me and I re-did the floral one! Which matched my top completely, and looks more gui qi!! wo hen ha gui qi!!
My lacey babydoll and my shoes! clover was very much against the top but I had to buy it because it was so so so pretty and had many da pian de lace!! Wo hen haa lace too!
This was the guy I had to send home. He already kuai bu xing le here. And the 2nd photo is my supervisor and my current boss.
My all time favourite v dark looking ah lian and my other nice commitee members. They took off their hats already cos it was too much a hassle and it made them sweat in the air-con ballroom! haha~ The 2nd photo my fav chairman jus snapped like that. And I forgot to ask him take with me!!!
Everytime I see myself in photos I am convinced I really resemble my sister. haha~ AND WHERE ARE MY EYES!!! WHERE?!?!
Forgot to take with my peers because I was had to do duties during the dinner and they left straight after dinner.
By the way, I think less than 20 staff came in hats. Maybe they also found all the hats in spore too cliche, I don't know! Luckily we prepared cheap party hats which they looked very happy with. ?!?!?!?! Maybe they are jus very easily contented!
