Though cliched, but I must say "how time flies!"
Of course I welcome 2009 since the new year
always brings new hopes.
But the pessimist in me tells me "bo bao".
haha...yes, no promises, but we stay hopeful still!

And so I quote lala, who wished for the year to be
filled with love, laughter and lovelies.
And my own version, with happiness, hope and honey!

2008 made a teary and tired me.
And left me with a weary heart and irreparable dark eye rings.

But I thank the ones who gave me a good closure at the last minute.
Girls who stood with me under the fireworks in the cold,
and boy who placed a shiny halo through my finger.
And a good dinner with lala at strippies cafe.

And I also thank those who gave me a good start.
Talking to PH on the phone, and party at LS's
place with the DHS folks and their spouses.

And so all I can say is that the festive period is the only time
cliches can be condoned! Cliched wishes, cliched activities,
cliched emotions. But don't they all make us hopeful and happy?

I am now waiting for the dark cloud above my head to
rain on me. And then, the rainbow appears over my head.
And all will be as good as the past.
