团圆饭

This year reunion dinner was at this Paris Buffet Place.

Maybe they cannot cope with the hungry crowd or maybe the chefs were unhappy they had to work so hard on new year's eve, so the food was only so-so.

And the replenishment was not fast enough. My aggressive dad and uncles had to standby the more premium dishes because they ran out in a few minutes!!

And after I stepped out I realised I missed the chocolate fondue!

Anyway, I think I still prefer eating steamboat at home though it means a lot more work for my tired mum.

But anything is fine with me as long as everyone is *happy*.
Look how xu rong my dad and mum looked. My sis was busy eating as usual.

Me....I need to go and trim my fringe again after CNY
haha

And so I spent 4hrs last night doing this for CNY, keep painting wrongly until I used up my nail polish remover!!! They are supposed to be ang bao inspired, red base with gold embossing.

So it means I will have many many ang baos aka 财 on hands all yr round!! And if I shake hands with people can also remind them to give me ang baos so they cannot kay kay!

Maybe should stick some 桃花 nails stickers too. haha~

没有重点

I suddenly cannot imagine myself having a bf, because I don't know where to find time to go on dates with him!!! haha~

I think its not bad being single really, but of cos I still will hope I can meet/find someone soon and my mum just reminded me that i am NOT young anymore!!! But 请问要去哪里找?!?! Really gave up on SG's long ago!!!!

And those born in year of rooster like me, got an email today predicting our luck in the year of dog, and it says we will feel lonely because we will have poor inter-human rs this year, not forgetting that we will quarrel with our loved ones!!!

haha~ and I said a rubbish and deleted it! I will be happy in the year of dog la, that's it!
Really, never say I will have 桃花运 or what 就算了, still have to throw in will be lonely. 到底是怎样! Quick someone find a prediction with 桃花运 one and send to me!! haha.

Yesterday I went for yoga and after I came out from the class realized the online schedule gave wrong info. It was NOT yoga multi level. It was POWER YOGA INTERMEDIATE! No wonder we sweated like mad and all the poses were so ridiculously 的办不到！! Let me give an example...do a "bridge" (means body inverted "U" with chest facing up) and then...while in bridge postition...raise one leg straight into the sky?!?!?! like....HUH?!?!?!?!?! I almost wanted to LOL! And now my body aches like mad.

But I like yoga still!! cos its does not feel so intensive and yet can work all parts of the body. Must try to go more often!

And yesterday I met an aunction seller who told me her brother used to work in R. Records! And brought MD to Zouk before! woohoo~~~~ And going to play mahjong with MD's manager during CNY!!

my KL trip - 完结篇

没想到...my "continue tomorrow" 竟然 became one week later.
Haha~ Talk about procrastination and empty promises.

Ya so here I am trying to finish up on my KL trip because I have yet to even touch on the whole point of the trip: MD Final Home KL!

Venue is at Stadium Merdeka which may be something like our old National Stadium but maybe a 2.35times older, whether there are plans to revamp/upgrade anot I have no idea.

My 1st impression of the fans was they were a cooperative (obedient) lot. All dressed in red, maybe only 1% not, and 2 of them happened to be in my group. haha~

Next was they were a non agressive lot, because there were no "Q starts here" sign, no bags guarding any territories and no suspecting beows to see if you were trying to cut q.

Only happy and contented fans sitting around loosely, gladly accepting interviews and eating KFC from barrels. And there was a nice group who gave us lightsticks when we pretended to buy from them.

By the way, there were no conventional lightstick vendors there!!! How can!!! Dua Tao, where were you?!?!?!?! We found new markets for your lightstick business! Only got the flashing battery type, which were not blue and hence very non-MD.

Then as we were still enjoying the rare serenity, someone gave a false alarm and there was a stampede to the metal grill entrance!!!!!

SH*T!!!! TAMAD*!!!!!

Never mind that nobody wanted to sit down anymore or even take a step back,

Never mind that we were hence squashed like we will all walk into the concert with a less than A-cup and GS will be very disappointed,

Never mind that one idiot guarding the entrance could still flirt with fans at the front and tried cracking jokes like we were all there to see him perform,

Never mind that some instructions were shouted in Malay and we were expected to understand, and the rest in cantonese, which we also could not understand,

Never mind that admist all these, the girl in front of me could still drink milk from a 1litre pack and almost spilled on me

Never mind that they opened the gate 1hr later than promised and we were greeted by 2 rows of 4 guards on each side shining their torches determinedly into all corners of our bags to confiscate mineral bottles and umbrellas cos they were lethal weapons (and they dared to sell mineral water inside and did not distribute raincoats as promised!!!!!) (and they still did not manage to discover my umbrella and bottle!?!?! boo~~~)

BUT!!!!! 好死不死 I HAD TO STAND BESIDE SOMEBODY WITH B.O.!!!!!!!!
You know B.O.?????? BODY ODOUR....OK.....BODY ODOUR that intensifies when one sweats and her sweaty teeshirt was pressed against my unprotected arms, and subsequently on my absorbent tee!!!!!!!!

KAO!!!!!!!!

And so.......I tried my best to shift away from her....but you know under such circumstances, no genuine fan would ever leave any space unconvered!!! so.....I shifted towards ash to siam her and she will jus shift towards me the next moment!!!

什么叫作处处逼人？？？
这就叫作处处逼人好吗？！？！

Really, I can only say a "Smelly fans are EVERYWHERE!!!!!" From SG to MSIA. TW shall skip for now because the weather was very cold then, need to attend some 夏天 concert to judge unbiasedly. haha~

The only 不幸中的大幸 that I could use to console myself was that there were no meet&greet or supper session after the concert!!!! I dowan to carry her BO to meet ah xin!!!!

So after the one and half hr squeezing and squashing ordeal, we were finally admitted to realize that our rock zone location 逊掉. Alright, we were cheap, we did not opt for the premium rock zone, but then what we got was also not according to the layout?!?!? The "stage" that we were sup to have turned out to be the big screens, and the most blurred ones I had ever seen. Ah xin's face was a 朦胧 throughout!!

NEXT TIME CAN U ALL PLS REMIND ME I NEED TO SPEND ON THE BEST TIX AND DO NOT TRY OUT ROCK ZONES EVER EVER AGAIN!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

Really I hate to be dodging my head throughout the concert and to keep having to ask where is ah xin and to have no space of my own to move!!!

Oh man!! I am only supposed to quickly post the concert photos and conclude that I enjoyed it no matter what because of the company and because it was MayDay!! But it still turned out to be this long! lol~ and I am supposed to be having a blog block?!? Really some grouses just need to be poured out.

Anyway, the concert was good except it was too predicatble as the run down was exactly like spore, even the perks and the talkings! But we were 暗爽 that they were short of a few songs and some 感人肺腑之言 that were present in spore's.

And I need to mention MD has many spontaneous male fans in msia, and I really mean MANY. They wore MD/red tees proudly and sang along neatly (and low-ly) trying hard not to miss a note, and they are not like SG males, who looked like they were forced to accompany the gfs. They went in groups and they looked so eager and excited!

A bit不习惯, but their 处理态度 really much preferred over SG guys'! And I nearly forgot to mention that some guy around me had the same B.O. as that girl i mentioned!!! Except this was not so intense cos I think he was not so near, But will still 隐隐约约飘过来! Eeeeee~~~!!!

Oh yes!!! Another thing, the fans there very 流行塞 bouquets onto the stage to MD...look at the photos you can already see 2 bouquets!!! and I can surely say there should be AT LEAST 50 bouquets in the premium rock zone alone!! I mean, I know they meant well, and I am glad MD were appreciative, but this act just do not seem to belong to this era and where did they learn this from?? some甄妮's concerts rite?!?!

How cheap were the bouquets btw?? I do not know, but XQ said she did see some aunties hard selling the bouquets outside the stadium. I think Msians are really kind hearted people. I MEAN IT OK!!!! yea.....

And XQ, how come you never tot of buying a bouquet for this very ke ai de YC/HN! (Hey u are haa-ing 2 YC's at the same time!!) Then you will have RM20 less to try to spend away the next day! And nobody looked like they really haa a HN there, so maybe he will rem you very long bi jing it should be the 1st time he ever received a bouquet!!!

So, we jumped and jumped on the mud and went back to the hotel with people gasping at how and where we got our feet sooo muddy, then dropped by 7-11 to buy very cheap salon-pas to stick in case we get muscle ache. haha~ very experienced now.

Conclusion is still it was enjoyable because of the company and because it was Mayday! This entry is getting so long I am losing focus!!!!

The next day, we shopped around with the key objective not to bring our RM back to singapore, and had my last authentic msia Ramly burger at the stopover.

Then our coach drove back steadily into our dear orderly and peaceful spore, and my very dry skin and chapped lips stayed with me for the next 3 days, until I finally put it back into place with consecutive Olay masks!!!

Whew~~!!! What a very long entry!

拿病假在家也可以上网花一堆钱！
真的只能说一句"花钱是无止境的"吧！
阿信大头T恤要五十块！！冠佑的才三十块哎！！
看吧。 哈已婚男子果然比较低成本。

手机吊饰还好，十块钱，价廉物美！

没办法啦，都是绝版货，不买的话以后发达了会后悔到死！

sick again

hey! I am sick again!

Went to the doctor this morning and he gave me 2 days MC (I did not ask for it!) Yea!
And after I came home, realized that I LNG (lai na ge).

Last month was the same thing. I woke up one morning with intense pain in my tummy and kept vommiting green slimy liquid. And I went to the clinic for an injection and got MC.
And after I went home, realized I LNG too!

So at least for these 2 mths, I do/did not have to work on my LNG 1st day, which is a great relief.
I do not know if I should conclude that my aunty very shi xiang or non shi xiang, coming at good or bad timings.

But better dun speak bad of her in case she give me problems. At least she did not try to chou re nao in KL!

my KL trip

Da Jia.....I am back from that KL place..

I have yi du zi de complains, but I dare not say much because PH told me over lunch today about how this girl got bombarded by many KL-sians when she spoke bad about there.

And I have no money to hire a lawyer if I am charged for expressing irresponsible views that may jeopardize inter-nation relationship.....

And I do not want to appear on the news or papers again because I got media phobia...

Although my readership is negligable....but still have to be careful...haha

Anyway, conclusion is just I don't think I will ever go there again, I had given them enough chances.

But still, the trip was good to me because of the company and the MD concert. And I actually enjoyed the long coach ride because I got to do 2 of my favourite things on board: falling in and out of sleep and listening to my MP3s, and the seats were comfy and spacious!


At the stop-over ke-ing RAMLY burger. I like RAMLY because they are cheap and good even though my patty always looked uncooked! Thanks to ash for letting me keep and post this pic! And thanks to HN de ma zi for not charging me ban quan fei after some negotiations!


Finally reached our hotel. Going to KLCC after putting down our baggage.
By the way, someone tried to break into our room at 630am one morning. The door was already opened, but luckily we latched!!! The hotel staff were clueless!!


At KLCC. We had the jiu wei le de A&W root beer and curly fries and waffle with ice cream. It was below expectations as expected...but still the root beer float was good!

And I want to complain about this KL version of where I work! Took half a lifetime to cash our items and gave me a $5 note with 1/3 of the note torn off (and still dare give to me!!) and took another half a lifetime to run away to dunno where with the torn note before coming back with a normal note!!!! Why cant he just take another note from the cash register!!! And 5 min later when we went back to pay for another item, the counter was CLOSED!!!! with THREE people inside trying to balance the accounts or what!!!

So we went to another counter and it took them another 1/3 lifetime to cash our items.........

and again after our transaction, we saw them closing this 2nd counter!!!!!!
I dunno what to say, REALLY! haha~
Did our small transactions confused the cashiers so much they had to do balancing right after both our transactions???

And the management staff could wear flat thongs to work!!! at the frontline!! customer service!! on the sales floor!! OMG! What an eye opener!!

I need to do mask and sleep. My nose is peeling like mad after I came back and my new year resolution is to sleep early!!!

the weather is great these days.
I really do not mind the inconvenience of the rain because I LOVE the cold weather too much! I really LOVE being able to wear winter like clothes at home and snuggling up w my XCC under my comforter! And can I also add on that my XCC smells better on wet weathers....

Really hope the cold weather is here to stay. But pls make an exception on sat in KL because we are going for MD Final Home KL which is in open air!!! I am so looking forward to it!! Really one of the best things that ever happened to me is to know and love MayDay!

Anyway, really in a happy mood recently. Hope u all can feel it too and be influenced. Because being happy is great. haha.

I think we can be happy even without any good happenings, because we can always discover happy reasons by ourselves, and need not wait for anything to happen.

Like how I walked into my department this morning and found a dog resting at my VP point!!
Still got a "旺" collar tag one...Made me so happy!

2005 的 圣 诞 节

虽然圣诞节已经算是去年的事了，但我想应该还是要有个交代吧！
因为现在人老了 记忆力真的衰退得很凶
所以还是记录一下比较好！ 毕竟圣诞是个快乐的季节啊！

幸好这次并没碰到拍照时手抖得厉害的路人!!


交还礼物！! 虽然有冷场。。。但很应景！！ 哈哈


幸好还有偷拍到个妞。。。哈哈
不然整组照片 只有礼物和蛋糕 真的会很像只是酒肉朋友的交情！

1) 要开心知足， 不然谁也是帮不了我
2) 要勇敢， 不要再爱哭了。但是绝对可以开心或感动的哭
3) 要喝多一点水，不管口渴不渴都要记得喝
4) 要早睡，虽然黑眼圈还是会在，但至少应该会浅一点
5) 要运动，因为真的不想肥一辈子
6) 要更认真努力的工作(和做其他大小事) 因为认真的女人比较美丽
7) 要对家人更好更好，因为对家人的好真的永远都不会觉得太多
8) 要对朋友更好， 因为我也很重视你们， 只是有时比较懒惰
9) 要节俭一点，但绝不能寒酸！买东西时要提醒自己知足一点
10) 要谈恋爱！！因为我年纪真的不小了， 而且我真的很怕不幸福！
